How To Install Wood-Plastic Flooring

Wood-plastic floor is a popular kind of home decoration floor in recent years. In order to ensure its beauty and neatness during installation, there are many problems that need attention. When installing wood-plastic floor, there are roughly five steps, the first step is to clean the floor, the second step is to plan the specific installation location of the floor, the third step is the specific installation process, the fourth step is to lay a floor, and the last step is to do a good job of surface cleaning of the floor.

When installing wood-plastic floor, the first step is to calculate the specific installation area, so as to purchase wood-plastic floor materials reasonably. After calculating the area, buy the material back, and then put it on the ground where it needs to be installed. Note that the wiring is a very delicate job. Poor wiring will affect the installation effect in the future. The position error of keel should be about 1 millimeter. After setting out and fixing keel, it will enter the next process.

The first floor should be fixed with self-tapping screw, and then the level is used to measure whether the placement position is flat. After the first floor is laid out, the follow-up wood-plastic floor should be installed once, and the expansion joint of about one millimeter should be left between each floor. Till it is installed in the latter part, fix the latter part of the base plate with tapping screw. After the floor is installed, the sludge and debris on the surface are cleaned thoroughly.

After the whole floor is installed, the expansion joints need to be sewn. Professional sewing slurry can be used for sewing, or you can mix your own sewing slurry. Clean up the debris on the floor again after the sewing, check whether the sewing is smooth after the cleaning, sew again on your uneven place, and then wipe off more than the slurry.
