In all respects, we believe that China's wood-plastic composite industry has reached a critical point for a new round of development. Wood plastic can also become a new bright spot of circular economy. With the increase of people's attention to environmental resources, recycling economic development model with waste material recovery and comprehensive utilization of resources as the core has become the trend of world economic development. Vigorously developing the technology of resource recycling will have a far-reaching impact on national economic development and environmental sustainable development. The production of wood-plastic composite products from waste plastics and wood fibers is a good project to meet this requirement. In China, a considerable amount of waste plastics and wood fibre is produced every year. However, because the domestic market is still in its infancy, wood-plastic products have not been widely promoted in the domestic market. Compared with the North American market, there is still considerable room for the growth of wood-plastic composites and finished products in the Chinese market. It is expected that the domestic market of wood-plastic composites will produce more than one million tons in recent years, with an output value of more than one billion yuan, and a new system of wood-plastic composites will be formed. As the only wood-plastic industry organization in China at present, the Professional Committee of Wood-plastic/Composite Material of China Resources Comprehensive Utilization Association will contribute to the development of the industry. The theory of circular economy and the recent decision of the Party Central Committee and the State Council to build a conservation-oriented society have opened up a vast space for the development of wood-plastic materials. We are confident and able to seize the opportunity to follow the trend and work hand in hand with our colleagues engaged in research and development of wood-plastic materials to lead China's wood-plastic industry to a new stage.
