Plastic wood flooring must have a strong anti-aging performance, otherwise, it will be damaged in a few years. This is to be abandoned by users, products must be put on the market before aging experiments, then you know what is artificial climate aging? Artificial climate aging is to place samples in artificial simulated natural climate in the environment of light, heat, air, temperature, humidity and rainfall and other factors to carry out accelerated aging tests. Artificial climate aging can simulate and strengthen the surface climate factors, but it can not fully simulate the atmospheric conditions. In the artificial climate aging test, the similarity between the energy spectrum of the equipment light source and the solar energy spectrum directly affects the reliability of the aging test results, and the irradiation intensity of the light source determines the acceleration rate of the test. The existing artificial climate aging test devices are divided into xenon lamp aging test machine, fluorescent ultraviolet aging machine, carbon arc lamp aging test machine, etc. The carbon arc lamp test has been gradually eliminated in other areas besides the standard use in Japan. At present, Guangzhou Quality Inspection Institute has applied for the National Standard for WPC Artificial Climate Aging, and has entered the stage of online consultation of draft standards. (1) Compared with sunlight, the energy distribution of various artificial light sources aged by xenon lamp is the most similar to that of the solar spectrum. The experimental results have a good correspondence with natural atmospheric exposure. ASTM D 2565-1999 and ASTM D 6662-2006 are commonly used for testing Xenon lamp aging in WPC. (2) Ultraviolet aging in 1970s, since the first generation of electric ultraviolet accelerated aging box came out, it has been widely used in the aging research of coatings and other materials. Experiments show that ultraviolet light plays a dominant role in the natural aging process of materials. Ultraviolet lamp tubes commonly used include UVA-340 and UVB-313. The UVA-340 lamp tube can simulate the short-wave spectrum of sunlight from 365 to 295 nm. It is often used for comparative testing of different formulations. It is recommended for testing most plastics, wood plastics, textiles, coatings, pigments and UV stabilizers. The UVB-313 lamp has a very short UV wavelength ranging from 340 to 270 nm, which is shorter than the current UV wavelength found on the earth. Therefore, it can quickly provide test results, but at the same time, it will cause unrealistic damage to materials, and is often used for weatherproof testing of durable materials.
