How To Choose A Flower Box?

Flower boxes are containers for planting flowers and trees. It is often used in streets, communities, parks and large amusement parks, road central separation belts, etc. It not only protects flowers and trees but also plays a beautifying role. Flower boxes are indispensable urban landscape furniture in urban construction.

At present, there are several kinds of flower boxes commonly used in the market:

1. Wooden flower box

Commonly used wooden flower boxes are made of preservative wood. In fact, most of them are made of camphor pine, pineapple grid, and Finnish wood. They are harder and more expensive.

2.  Plastic wood flower box

"Plastic wood material", also known as "wood-plastic composite material", as the name suggests, can be understood as mainly using plastics (polyethylene (PE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and other recycled waste plastics) as raw materials, adding wood flour and rice husks, Straw and other waste plant fibers are mixed into new wood materials, and then subjected to extrusion, compression molding, injection molding and other plastic processing techniques to make plates or profiles. Mainly used in building materials, furniture, logistics and packaging industries.

Disadvantages of plastic wood flower box: the material is a bit brittle, easy to break and cannot be repaired; adding various additives will increase the processing cost; the manufacturing process is complicated and expensive. The normal outdoor service life is about five years.

3. PVC flower box

PVC is one of the plastic products. It is cheap and versatile. Polyvinyl chloride resin is white and cannot be used alone and must be modified.

4. aluminum alloy flower box:

Aluminum alloy is the most widely used non-ferrous metal structural material in industry, and it has been widely used in aviation, aerospace, automobile, machinery manufacturing, shipbuilding and chemical industries.
