Precautions For Installation Of Plastic Wood Flooring

1. Plastic wood can be cut, sawed, drilled, and tenoned with ordinary woodworking machinery.

2. Fix the plastic wood keel on the floor with an expansion tube. The distance between the fixing points of the expansion tube is 500mm-600mm, and the screw cap is lower than the surface of the wood keel. The wood keel needs to be fixed as a whole.

3. Self-tapping screws can be used for fastening between wood and wood. Stainless steel self-tapping screws are recommended for outdoor use; self-drilling and self-tapping screws are used for wood and steel plates.

4. When using self-tapping screws to fasten between WPC and WPC, the hole should be pre-drilled. The diameter of the pre-drilled hole should be less than 3/4 of the screw diameter.

5. When installing outdoor flooring, one screw on the left and right should be used between the plastic wood profile and each keel.

6. The installation work surface is required to be flat and free of potholes. The keel spacing L should be controlled at 300mm~350mm (if the floor and the keel are not laid perpendicularly, they should be appropriately shortened). Too wide spacing will cause downward bending deformation of the floor panel. Expansion joints should be reserved between the longitudinal joints of the keels.

7. For the paving of large-area wood-plastic floor, it is recommended to use the installation method shown in the figure, and the length of each wood-plastic floor shall not exceed 2 meters.

8. The plastic wood floor should be edge-sealed. The edge banding of plastic-wood floor uses plastic-wood board to seal the edge. According to the height of the floor keel, the plastic-wood board is cut to the required height, and the spacing of the self-tapping screws for fixing the edge-sealing plastic-wood material is 400mm~600mm. Other metal edge banding strips can also be used as the edge banding of plastic wood floor.

9. The junctions between the wood-plastic floor and the keel are all connected and fixed with plastic buckles.
